Attendance
It is vital that your child attends school every day.
If your child is ill, please let the school office know by 9:00am by telephoning 01943 862642 on the first day of absence. See NHS guidance here to check to whether your child can safely attend a school setting. (Please do NOT email us as we may not see the email until later in the morning).
For security reasons, we will contact you if your child is not in school and we have not had a reason for the absence. It is therefore essential that we have 2 current numbers on which to contact you along with further emergency contacts.
If your child is going home with someone else, please write a note to their class teacher - it saves confusion. If you collect your child, please inform the school if you know you are going to be delayed.
If there are any changes in home circumstances which might affect your child at school, please let us know so that we can keep a careful eye on them. We will, of course, treat any such information with sensitivity.
If your child has any medical conditions which may affect them in school, eg asthma, allergies, please let us know.

Leave of Absence
Routine medical or dental appointments should be planned outside of the school day. Where this is unavoidable, please send details of the time of collection and return to school to the school office email. Please attach a copy of the confirmation letter to the email.
Holidays taken in term time will not be authorised. Please see the MLT attendance policy for further information.
