What's the buzz? 2018 is 'The Year of Engineering' and this is what we have based all our learning around. Inspiring young engineers of the future has been a focus and we have had lots of visitors into school to promote and encourage this.

Perhaps our hottest Sports Day on record! A wonderful afternoon of children achieving and enjoying in sport and displaying some fantastic team spirit and good sportsmanship.

Years 3 and 4 have been making and selling clown hats. Their maths skills have really been tested as well as their design technology techniques and skills.

Greece Went to Pieces
A most fabulous Year 3/4 musical based on their Ancient Greece learning.
The Deputy Lord Mayor opened the ceremony and our garden party which celebrated our 'All things British' learning.
British Art Week
The children have created wonderful canvases to depict their love for their class novels. The sculptures of British landmarks are very impressive. Winners of the mosaic competition are also shown here.

Year 3/4 Homework Celebration Day
It was fantastic to welcome so many visitors to Lower KS2 on Friday afternoon to look at all the amazing Mediterranean homework the children have completed and were proudly showing off!
Despite the mud, rain and cold, our Burley Oaks children did us proud in the Ashlands Cross Country on Saturday 15th February
