The theme for the Ball was "James Bond" and the Queens Hall Burley-in-Wharfedale provided the venue.
Tickets were sold out within a day of going on sale and 144 people enjoyed a Bucks Fizz reception, followed by an excellent three course meal provided by Main Street Restaurant, Burley-in-Wharfedale. Music was provided by "The Mean Business Soul Band". It took them precisely 5 seconds to get the party goers up on the dance floor.
Some excellent Martini cocktails were available (shaken not stirred) to keep the James Bond theme going, whilst Donald Smith Promotions provided a table top casino. With a raffle and auction of promises the night was certainly one to remember and the greatest achievement of all was the raising of £2000 for school PTA funds beating all previous records.
